Baaro has a distinct sound that is easily identifable once you've heard them and they are undoubtedly one of the top reggae bands in Chicago. Comprised of an original member of the band “Dallol” (Mulu, formerly of Ziggy Marley’s back up band), two members of the all female group “Karess“ (Lois and Juanita) and drummer (Fikru), they are increasingly popular in the region. The band is accompanied by the "Wicked Bad" Jasper on keyboards, Abera on lead and bass guitars, Ermias on bass guitar, and the Cromwell Brothers on horns. |
